Geri Lynn Baumblatt, MA

Geri Lynn Baumblatt, MA is the principal of Articulations Consulting. She consults on and designs health technology, patient communication, education and engagement, health literacy, peer support, and shared decision making tools and partners in outcomes research. Prior to this, she was the Executive Director of Patient Engagement at Emmi Solutions, where she oversaw the creation of a large library of multimedia patient education videos, decision aids, and interactive phone calls. She was the multimedia expert on AHRQ’s Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool. She currently erves on the Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCORI) Patient Engagement Advisory Panel, the Leadership Board of the Journal of Patient Experience, Patients for Patient Safety U.S, and OpenNotes. She advocates for family caregivers and writes a column on Healthcare IT Today.
